13.04.2021New paper on global significance of b->sll anomalies

A new paper based on work done by members of the group in collaboration with Prof. Isidori was just submitted to arXiv. It calculates the global significance of the b->sll anomalies for the first time, including to the so-called look-elsewhere effect.

The result is a significance of 3.9 standard deviations, which corresponds to a p-value of around 1 in 10000. Its certainly exciting times to be in B physics!
